Dear Valued Customer,
Please be advised, VelociHOST and our preferred vendor will be replacing the PDU units on specific cabinets in our MIA1 data center.
The purpose of this project is to increase capacity to affected cabinets by replacing the PDU units supporting the computing infrastructure within our Miami facility. The planned scope of this work will be to perform a full PDU replacement on (1) one data center cabinet at a time.
VelociHOST Engineers will isolate core networking and non-affected cabinets should not be impacted by the scope of this work. This effort is forecasted to take approximately 1 hour per module, and it is anticipated that this work will be performed on Sunday, April 26th.
If you are receiving this notification, it means you have one or more servers deployed in the affected cabinets. During this work, impacted servers will experience a momentary power disconnection. Servers will be gracefully shut down and then powered back on after the work has been completed. Each server is expected to be disconnected for no more than 30 minutes. The entire project is forecasted to be completed within 9 hours.
All necessary precautions and required preparations have been made to support this work. There will be a direct notification sent out at the completion (on 04/26).
