[Incident 0106132023 - RESOLVED] 09:34 UTC – This incident has been resolved. A member of the Florida Internet Exchange (FL-IX), our peering exchange service provider at MIA1, placed a loop on their port, which was mistakenly configured without a MAC filter on their end. The FL-IX resolved the issue, and we restored peering connectivity. All services should be operating normally. Please open a support ticket if you have any questions. [Incident 0626202001] Emergency VPS server migration at MIA POP Megoldott

Dear Customers,

It has come to our attention that hypervisor with ID e50102mia located in our Miami, FL, USA data center is causing intermittent shutdowns to some VPS servers hosted within that node. To remedy this problem, we are migrating all VPS servers hosted on that hypervisor to a new, healthy node. Please note assigned IP addresses and VPS information remain intact. 

Due to the critical nature of this incident, and as a precautionary measure we immediately started the migration process to decommission and troubleshoot the affected server. You will notice a brief interruption of service while the VPS instance is shutdown, migrated and brought back online on the new hypervisor node.

[06/06/2020 16:17 EDT] All ISP links are back up. At 13:08 EDT Cogent Communications reported they have solved the problem. We have brought the BGP session back up after 3 hours without further incidents with their circuit. All upstream links at our MIA POP are now operating normally.

[06/06/2020 13:10 EDT] One of our ISPs, Cogent Communications, has acknowledged another network outage at our Miami POP at approximately 12:50 PM EDT. We have disconnected our session to Cogent until further confirmation of a definitive resolution is received.  All traffic has been shifted to our redundant ISP uplinks for stability. [Update 06/06/2020 08:20 EDT] Cogent Communications has confirmed their links are back online. At this point we have restored BGP sessions with Cogent and this incident is considered resolved. 

[Update 06/05/2020 19:10 EDT] Cogent's BGP session has been administratively shutdown and we are routing traffic through our redundant ISP providers. Everything should be working correctly now. Cogent's BGP session will be restored once we have confirmation from their NOC that everything has been resolved on their end.  

[Update 06/05/2020 19:08 EDT] Cogent has confirmed they are currently experiencing an outage in the Miami area. Their BGP session is causing our routes to flap and their frequent updates to the BGP table is causing reachability issues in our MIA POP. 06/05/2020 19:08 hours
