You can bring public IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges from your on-premises deployment to your VelociHOST cloud. Customers can then deploy Bare Metal Servers and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and use IP addresses from their own IP range.

Customers continue to own their IP address ranges, but VelociHOST advertises the address ranges on the Internet.

For further details not discussed in this document, please contact our support team at [email protected]

Basic Requirements:

  • The address range must be registered with the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), Regional internet registry (RIR). It must be registered to a business or institutional entity and cannot be registered to an individual person.
  • The most specific IPv4 address range that you can bring is /24.
  • The most specific IPv6 address range that you can bring is /48.
  • You can bring a total of two (2) IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges per location to your VelociHOST account. Additional IP ranges requires approval from our team and must be requested for consideration by submitting a support ticket from your account in the client area.
  • You cannot share your IP address range with other VelociHOST accounts.
  • The addresses in the IP address range must have a clean history. We may investigate the reputation of the IP address range and reserve the right to reject an IP address range if it contains an IP address that has a poor reputation or is associated with malicious behavior.
  • You must provide proof that you own the address range. For this, you will create a Route Origin Authorization (ROA) object to authorize VelociHOST autonomous system number (ASN) 63452 to advertise your address range.
  • You must own the IP address that you use. This means that only the following are supported:
-ARIN - "Direct Allocation" and "Direct Assignment" network types
  • We cannot advertise address spaces assigned by RIPE or APNIC Regional internet registries (RIR) on our New York and Miami Data Centers.
